Mind Maps for Confluence
This is the documentation for the Confluence Cloud add-on Mind Maps for Confluence.
Installation
Section titled “Installation”On the marketplace listing click on the ‘Try it free’ button in the upper right corner. Select the Confluence Cloud instance where you want to install the add-on and click ‘Start free trial’. This will automatically provision the add-on to your Confluence Cloud instance. Note that this process requires administrator rights.
Adding a Mind Map to a Confluence Page
Section titled “Adding a Mind Map to a Confluence Page”The New Editing Experience
Section titled “The New Editing Experience”- Begin to type ‘/mindmap’ on the page until a list of all available macros appears
- Select Mind Map and a live preview of the Mind Map will be inserted into the page.
- Select the Mind Map and click edit to open the Mind Map editor
- In the opened Mind Map editor modify the presented example to your liking and click Save in the upper right corner
The New Editing Experience (Alternative)
Section titled “The New Editing Experience (Alternative)”- In the new Confluence editor, click Insert > View more
- In the Select macro dialog choose Mind Map
- In the opened Mind Map editor modify the presented example to your liking and click Save in the upper right corner
Classic Editor
Section titled “Classic Editor”- Begin to type ‘{mindmap’ on the page until a list of all available macros appears
- Select Mind Map and a Mind Map logo will be inserted into the page.
- Select the logo and click edit to open the Mind Map editor
- In the opened Mind Map editor modify the presented example to your liking and click Save in the upper right corner
Classic Editor (Alternative)
Section titled “Classic Editor (Alternative)”- In the Confluence editor, click Insert more content > Mind Map
- In the opened Mind Map editor modify the presented example to your liking and click Save in the upper right corner
Using the Editor
Section titled “Using the Editor”The editor help is displayed when you press the ’?’ button on the lower left within the editor.
